Tea is one of the most popular drinks in the world and their are countless benefits to its enjoyment. You might be used to tea bags but the real fun lies in loose teas - if there is a simple, but beautiful way to enjoy the richness of tea tastes and aromas, why not try it? In Asia, there is a very special approach to tea drinking. If you have ever wondered about the different types of teas, and how to brew and enjoy them then this workshop is for you!
What we will cover:
1. Discover diverse types of true teas, and how to brew and taste them
2. Choose tea wares for different teas
3. Learn the basics of tea table setting
4. Understand tea and food pairing
Lian Xue started exploring tea and its art in 2013, and became a tea lover while she learnt. Her passion for tea took her to many different courses, visiting tea houses and festivals in China and elsewhere. In the past years, she has taught tea seminars in universities and held tea ceremonies in cultural institutes and health centres around Austria. Her vision is to help more people to enjoy and connect with nature through good tea.
